I can't get a fact sheet with images without paying £5.00 for an hours access over at Peugeot Service Box http://
public.servicebox.peugeot.com/

What I can say is that you remove the door trim panel (several torx screws around the edge and then pull from the bottom to release the clips).

Once the panel is off you get access to the 2 retaining bolts (70) shown in the parts diagram below, plus unclip the cable connectors

Re: Rear parking sensors 207cc GT

You will need assistance to do this, but with the car running and in reverse gear, have someone run a hand over each outside sensor to check they work. (Not moving obviously)

If the warning goes off, it's simply a display issue on the dash and as long as they work, does it matter what the display shows?

The warning is more important.

If it doesn't then the sensors obviously have a fault.

Forget about computers and diagnostics, a bit of old fashioned fault finding is often faster and more conclusive

Once you know yours are actually working, but not displaying, go to the garage and check another similar car with the Service Manager to prove that the display profile has changed. If the alternative car display works and yours doesn't, he/she can't then say 'it's normal' and you want it sorted

Having had the same car and model (07) where the parking sensors picked up obstacle behind and to the side I expected the ame of my 2010 model. My friends car( exactly same age and model) does pick up such obstacles, mine doesn't. Multi function display only displays lines immediately behind and not to the side. Dealer says they are working properly. Anyone else got any info of feed back? Thanks

Re: 207cc roof rattle

I know this threads a few months old but found it searching for roof rattles after having an issue with my girlfriends 207.
Its a 2008 model that she purchased yesterday. I immidiatly noticed a heavy, dull "cluming" sound.
Comes from the front roof joining area and I I get the feeling it happens not so much when the car goes over a bump, but more when it goes over a peice of road that might "flex" the chasis.
I thought it suggested the foor moving a little at the join.
The discription of the locking pins not quite fitting correctly is exaclty the kind of thing i had in mind that it might be.. I even half opened the roof and took a look at them to see if they were loose.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Re: Snapped sprocket bolt

Hi
Finally after 4 weeks and numerous phone calls chasing for an answer I have had one. The warranty assessor has agreed to pay for 100% of parts and 50% of labour which equates to £742 + VAT (79.99 +VAT per hour). I rang the dealership this morning and they said they are putting a new engine in so it will revert back to 0 miles on the clock. I'm thinking of taking it further with Peugeot Customer Relations to see if I can get them to pay more (or all!). What do you think of this offer?
